my PROMIS Know-How

Just as a dinosaur is both jurassic and priceless, so is PROMIS. Before everything gets eroded in time, or buried in layers and layers of rocks and soil, I'll document as much as I can. May it yet be useful to those who uncover it, and make it roar once again.

About this Blog

PROMIS. PROcess Manufacturing Integration System. This is what I do now. This is my source of living. My software development revolves around this VMS-based shop floor control system. Uses DMQ to communicate through the backdoor. My intranet codes augments this system. My GUIs utilizes DMQ and TP to execute commands in PROMIS. My system-level programs uses DMQ and TP to capture, validate, manipulate and finally send data over to PROMIS for data feed. Ever seem like a PROMIS-ing career? Yes!
